Status and Delphi 7

Hi:

I'm curious about the status of Exodus. I saw there was
some activity
in SVN, but I'm not sure about the project's future plans.
Earlier
this year, I was (for example) able to compile Exodus'
sources in
Delphi 7, but recent sources seem to indicate that the
current
developers have decided to move to the latest version of
Delphi. Since
I'm not that fortunate, I decided to backport the current
sources to
Delphi 7 with the following natches (most of time in the
corresponding
DFM files):

1). I ran into different issues with the tntTextEdit box
(particulary
whenever PasswordChar was set: I assume this has to do with
the how
latest Delphi compilers write DFM files).
2). I had some weird errors in some of the
tntListviews/tntTreeviews
(Items.Data), but have removed references to those ones.
3). There were also calls to a unit called WideStrUtils,
which I
removed: I'm not sure where this unit came from
4). I literally had to delete the Infobox (was that a
RichEdit2?) in
the About.dfm/Pas because of the gibberish (Unicode I
presume) that
was put in there. Sorry.

Anyways, I got most of it running now (barring issues that
may come up
during testing).
