Thank you Jon, but unfortunately there is only the Analog device, and the modem is also present. After loading the new ALSA drivers I activated the system sounds, so when I start up Fedora I have some sound. The detection is still not working and now sometimes at startup the computer completely locks and I have to restart. I attached the output of the scsconfig.log, so maybe somebody can have a look at it and give advice. Thanks. Leon.

Don't know if yours is the same, but on my T60 the Intel HDA audio is
presented as two devices in soundcard detection - 'AD 198x Digtial' and
'AD 198x Analog'. Only the analog choice produces any sound..
