Hi,
 i have 2 laptops one is running Fedora 8 and other one is
runing Windows XP, now i decided to getride of Fedora laptop
and want to use single laptop ( win XP ) and use Fedora on
VMWare.

  my question
i have some valuable application in Fedora so 
1) how do i create iso from my fedora laptop? can i use
gosht to do that?
2) is that any way i can take Fedora image and use it on my
VMware that is running it on XP

please help me

Sure thing, backup Fedora using Mondo www.mondorescue.org, generate a bootable DVD, boot that in VMware and restore to
it

There are also p2v tools that can do this. Just google for p2v vmware and you get lots of information about it.
