I tried searching my system (after a selfupdate) to find
"-1007v" but
it didn't show up. It may have been a momentary bad commit.
Try
running another selfupdate. If you still get the error
doing
something like
cd /sw/fink/dists
grep -r 1007v *
will find what package description on your local system has
the bad revision.

Nope:
http:/
/pdb.finkproject.org/pdb/package.php/arb
show that arb hasn't been moved to 10.5 yet.
