I run the same application twice. What I mean is I changed
one of the
applications by moving it to a different app name using mv.
I changed
all string names in the plist to match the new name and
changed the
binary name to match also. Every so often my I Imac intel
running
leopard will freeze up with what sounds like the disk is
busy.
I do not see that my changing the application name would
have an
effect on this but I am not sure. Is there some bug in the
Imac intel
that occurs that would explain this hangup (freeeze)?

This doesn't sound very Fink-related, but we'll let that
pass.
Lockups, in my experience, are often associated with
hardware problems,
like poorly seated RAM modules, or bad ones.
