Alas the Tab Mix Plus does not work in Minefield - I think
it goes as far as
V3 Alpha 2, and was last updated Dec?
Although I use up to 50+ tabs, I *would* use a lot more if:
-it were easy to find my way around that number
-If Firefox did not slow down so much after 50 tabs -
(mainly through using
memory I think)
-We need to aim higher - if the browser made it easy I would
be opening
*thousands* of pages, and having even more bookmarked.
A metaphor is that 10-15-20 years ago computer users would
usually have
dealt with only a handful of files, now hundreds or
thousands of files on a
system are routinely viewed by ordinary users using familiar
tools such as
Windows explorer and file viewers and desktop searches.
So how can we open and view thousands of pages? A good
question for Firefox
V3! If you make it easy to handle thousands of tabs or
pages, and make it
very simple - then for the average user handling 3 tabs will
also be
easy...or 30 ...or 300 ...or 3000
