I've been going over the content-handling items in the PRD
and am
working on writing up the "feature plan
templates". Initially, I had
the impression that there should be one template per
feature, but
after one false start and some discussion with Smart People
Who Know,
I got the idea that it needed to be one template per
functional area.
As I'm getting further into the process, it appears that
this either
needs to be determined on a case-by-case basis, or else the
functional
area taxonomy needs a bit of massaging.

The confusing piece to me is the use of the "User
Interface"
functional area. In particular, all of the items in
content-handling/
user-interface look to me as though they really belong as
part of
content-handling/content-type-processing. Alternately, if
breaking
them out into a separate "User Interface"
functional area is the right
thing, shouldn't several of the download manager line items
live in
User Interface too.

What's the right strategy here, on both the template and
taxonomy
fronts?

Additionally, I have a bunch of smaller questions about the
various
line-items. What's the best way to get them dealt with --
post here,
file bugs, ...?

Thanks,
Dan
