Incorrect character set - Back button displays previous page in Chinese

Hi there,  I hope this is the correct forum.  We have a
search page
that contains a couple of frames. One frame has the search
form to
input criteria, another frame has the search results and the
others
are for headers/navigation.

After performing the search, if you hit the back button, the
page
somehow triggers an incorrect character set and displays the
page in
Chinese.  The application does have the ability to be set to
different
languages such as Chinese.  Not sure why the English setting
would
store a encoding switch to Chinese.

Any thoughts?
