I am unable to access sites that I have been able to get to
in past and
can access if I use IE. the following warning box occurs:
The connection was reset
The connection to the server was reset while the page was
loading.
* The site could be temporarily unavailable or too
busy. Try
again in a few
moments.
* If you are unable to load any pages, check your
computer's
network
connection.
* If your computer or network is protected by a
firewall or
proxy, make sure
that Firefox is permitted to access the Web.
I have checked my firewall and it has not changed, I do not
use a
proxy. The computer network connection is working fine.
What does "connection was reset" imply? What
would cause it? How can
it be avoided or eliminated. In plain words, I would
appreciate any
help in getting back to the Browser working the way it had
been for
years.
Thanks
