Yes we have a problem with LoadVars.send and getURL.
Looks like installing the Player 9 makes some changes into
the security
model, even when you run Flash 8 content.

Hello David,

I didn't have enough free time to test the Flash Player 9
during the
beta. The problem has been reported by some of our end-users
and so we
confirmed it today.

I have been describing the problem clearly in a mail I sent
today on the
OSFlash list while asking of advices on how to fix it.
