Highlighting dates in DateChooser

Hello all,
I am using a datechooser component for an events calendar
and wondered if
you knew of a way to highlight other dates beside today's
date (showToday).
I've googled this, but cannot seem to find anything. Any
hints or articles
much to be appreciated.
