HI all,
I'm just trying to get the integration kit to run and
struggle with a
compilation error as soon as I put the sources on my
project:
JavaScriptProxy.as: Error: A file found in a source-path
must have an
externally visible definition. If a definition in the file
is meant to
be externally visible, please put the definition in a
package.
I'm using Flex SDK versiuon 2.0.1.0
Any help ?
thanks
Matthias

if you're using flex, you can just use ExternalInterface,
and you
don't need the integration kit.
The Js kit was created for as2 projects using flash player 7
or lower.

Hi Matthias,
I don't think the JS integration kit is really for you if you're publishing to Flash Player 9, the Flash/JavaScript communication kit was created prior to the inclusion of the ExternalInterface class that shipped with Flash 8.
The errors you are getting are because the JS/Flash integration kit has been written in ActionScript 2, and you are publishing to ActionScript 3.
