Hi Chris,
I've got some limited experience with the PSP browser. It's pretty
basic to be honest - Flash 6 with a few capabilities curbed (anything
to do with multi-user experiences for example, ie FMS, remoting and
XMLSockets) and very slow performance. It doesn't play video either.
Player version returns "NF3 6,0,72,27". Runtime memory is very low,
about 1.5MB apparently. You get a lot of 'out of memory' errors!
You do have the whole screen to play with though (480x272), via the
'fullscreen' capability of the browser. That's quite nice, but as I
said, for any fancy animations the frame rate has always been too slow
for me.
Here's Bill Perry's take on it from April 2006:

Contact me off-list if you want more info (from the horse's mouth so
to speak).
Cheers,
Wolf.
