Flash CS3 auto-closing without save?

Hi everyone! This is driving me nuts! Have anyone experienced Flash CS3 just closing without saving in the middle of working on a Flash Lite 2.x FLA? It sometimes happens when I switch to Device Central and sometimes all by itself when editing code. Is it just my machine or have any of you experienced the same problem? Seriously considering going back to Flash 8 after seeing how unstable CS3 is. I think it might be something to do with the fact that I have a custom workspace. I thought about asking this question on the Adobe forum and then saw that no questions concerning crashes ever get answered. Thanks in advance! Oh and I hate saving all the time (or having to because the app crashes) and keeping multiple versions, in my case it normally does more damage than good. Stefan, I think I've had this happen a couple times (under XP) ... but honestly don't remember when, so it's been only a few times at most ... not sure if it's related, or what your specific issue is. Have you looked into 3rd party autosaver extensions. I used to use a couple on larger desktop Flash projects in the past (but haven't gotten around to putting them back into my CS3 mobile workflow) ... I guess saving often just comes naturally now. Also, on an unrelated note ... I noticed that if I have Photoshop CS3 and Flash CS3 open at the same time as my normal workflow, and/or have just Photoshop CS3 open sometimes ... that apps will hang sometimes ... definitely Photoshop CS3 as the culprit ... as I'm always closing that first and then the hang goes away. This is under Windows XP. I have also experienced a similar problem with flash cs3 when i launch the device central. I just saved as i go to avoid a great misfortune. Hello Stefan, is this an issue independent from the Flash CS3 and Device Central Flash Lite 3.0 update? Which OS are you working on and which CS do you have installed? This was with flash cs3 out of the box on a windows xp machine. Sorry no crash ; logs. Whoohoo I have lost more work with the CS3 just closing bug! I can now confirm that it happens when there is an application switch happening on the system (e.g. switching to device central/mail app/mp3 player/notification popups). Flash will close as soon as it loses focus without saving - I think it happens more often when the actions panel is active. I'm going back to Flash 8!
