Hey all,
Long time no see. Anyhow, to further comment about FL in the future, I
am still fairly convinced that while it may have some degree of
usefulness in custom UI developments for mobile devices, I do not
think it will have much use in regards to commonly used applications
like web browsers, planners, etc etc. I recently tried out a new Apple
I-phone. What's amazing is that you can actually view web sites as
they would appear on a PC. This is remarkable because this means that
all web sites are thus fully scalable.

In conclusion, my initial hope that FL would become a integral part
of the mobile device experience I believe will not be happening. All
isn't lost though as the interest in Flash is still very strong in the
US, hence I'm getting a lot of work. I don't think I would be
investing too heavily in FL as a digital median because quite frankly
Adobe screwed it's introduction up by not allowing easier and more
flexible integration.

I started to reply to this thread but ended up writing a little too much for an email so I've put it online here:

Hopefully it doesn't sound too negative.
