I think the consensus is Flash_Tiger. That’;s what Jason
has been recommending, and we’re up to 71 members in one day. We’d
love to have your brain cells there, Bob!
By the way, to keep spammers to a minimum, we’re
moderating new members now. One of the moderators will need to approve new
members, and the first post will have to be approved. We’re growing, and attracting
attention, and I’m listening to advice from people with more experience
managing lists.
Cordially,
Kerry Thompson

I agree, I have 'lived' on
these list for 5 or so years(not to sure when exactly). A lot of good questions
came up and I learned alot. They all have been an asset to my growth in
knowledge on flash.
Though I still code in AS2 mostly but that's because of my employers targeted
market... Air and flex still give me a headache at times. Although I did win an
adobe contest recently for building an air application, was one of the most
hair ripping knife in the eye learning experiences ever... It's just going to
be a long haul to convert over to AS3 :(
As for newbies moving to a new list... I'm waiting it out to join, once it's
been decided, I'll go lend some brain cells.

I don't agree with you on that, Cedric.
Flashcoder people still exist and not all of them do flex, air, etc.
In fact most of them do still AS coding for their living. Less AS2 and
more AS3, but still coding in Actionscript.
So what I liked about flashcoders and flashnewbies (beside the people
on the list) is/was questions about trigonometry, shortcuts,
performance questions, rumors on new player versions, or just "please
help I am stuck" questions and so on. It is/was a great mix of all!
