Good Morning.

I'm working on a project for a client that is going to be
delivered to an
audience on CD with no internet connections. Flash pieces
embedded in a
browser.

Problem is that the client can't change the security
settings without the
internet connection.

I've got routines that call external files (XML, mp3s,
movieclips, etc.) and
also read/write to shared objects.

Is there a way to set the security settings "under the
hood" so the user
doesn't get the alert box each time flash tries to
communicate?

Thanks!

Mike

Making an bullet in html text a different color

I'm trying to put a bullet in front of a line of html text
in Flash and want
to have it a color other than black.

Bringing it in from and XML file I'm using:

<bullet>
More
responsibility
</bullet>

Which gives me a blue text but a black bullet.

Any way to make the bullet the same color as the text?

Thx!

Mike,

Try creating and adding a text style to the textfield and
including
style classes in the html text.

Have you tried...

<bullet>
More
responsibility
</bullet>

???

Try setting the color via the style attribute. Setting the
color of the FONT
sets the color of the text. You need to alter the LI element
to affect the
bullet character. (At least that's the way it is in HTML and
CSS.
