Thread: 0.27 bug?

0.27 bug?

I'm running 0.27 against an Asterisk 1.4.10 installation and
we've
noticed a weird quirk. Every once in awhile, unfortunately
so far not
reproducible, someone's entry will show them calling
themselves.
Additionally, it's unique to a browser session, because I
can
sometimes see the problem in IE, sometimes in Firefox, and
often times
it's fine in one browser while incorrect in the other one.
It's
pretty rare, but it does happen, and I'm not sure how to
duplicate it.
Has anyone else experienced this problem?

Thanks,
Scott

Hi Scott, yes I had other similar reports. I will suggest
you to try the
trunk version or latest snapshot as that bug might be
fixed.

On another note, I remember once someone using the PAGE
application in
Asterisk with a strange behaviour on buttons too, but they
were due to
the Page application itself and zombie or pseudo channels
not cleaning
up properly in Asterisk (FOP was displaying correct info
actually).
Anyways it does not explain the inconsistency between
browsers.

Not sure what is your case, but please try with the latest
snapshot and
see if the problem persists, or maybe tell me if you are
using the page
application or not.

Another thing that it comes to mind is probably some kind of
network
congestion that makes the client to be disconnected and miss
an event
from op_server.pl, leading to an incorrect display. In those
cases
op_server tries to disconnect the client in order to force a
reload, but
sometimes it might fail.

Best regards,
