64-bit working?

I'm not 100% sure but I think I'm having trouble getting FOP
to work
with a 64-bit browser. Specifically, I'm running the server
on a 64-bit
CentOS machine and using a browser on my 64-bit Fedora
workstation. The
client connects then disconnects. The server only seems to
log the
connect then the disconnect and cleanup. Beat my head
against for a
couple hours. Tried the SVN version. No luck.

Fired up a browser on a 32-bit Windows machine and it's
working fine.

Anybody seen this?

If you are using Firefox on the CentOS machine, you need to
install and
use the 32 bit version of firefox and install the 32 bit
flash player
plugin. Then it will work.

Is this a fault in the 64-bit Flash plugin, op_server, or
the SWF? Just
curious. If it's one of the later two, I may be able to do
some poking
around in the code but I don't want to waste my time if
not.

The problem is that there is no 64 bit flash player for
Linux. See
http://kb.adobe.com/selfservice/
viewContent.do?externalId=6b3af6c9&sliceId=2
The work around to install the 32 bit versions to make it
work.
Also, Sun only provides a 32bit JRE for linux so if you need
to install
Sun's Java, you need the 32 bit version for that as well.
