How soon can we expect to see a download of this. The
scrollable will be a great feature in my 400+ screen. I like
the label color feature as well and the transfer to
voicemail. Any chance of being able to disable callerid on a
button by button basis???

Subject: [Flash Operator Panel] Eyecandy and not so new
features

Hi people,

I was working on the new version, and added some nifty
features, but I
would like to have some feedback from you.

Please take a look at the live demo at http://www.asternic.org

You will notice a change in the visual style, the new
feature is that
you can now specify an individual background (jpg) to each
button.

Another feature showcased is enable_label_background, that
sets the
label's background color to the led color

I' m also playing with the idea of extending the panel: try
by moving
your mouse to the right edge of the panel...

There are other features that I' m working on that are
heavily
experimental.. I'm toying with the idea of adding
scriptable action, so
you can somewhat program the actions via a config file.
Right now is
partially implemented, and using this idea I added
monitoring as an
available action in a couple of minutes. If you look close
the arrow,
you will notice that it has a green outline. When you start
monitoring
a channel, it turns red. I' ve yet to decide how to fully
implement
scriptable actions, because there are special cases,
alternate actions
when a button is busy or free, or if it is a queue button or
an
extension button, etc. Right now the action config file
looks like
this:

[led-doubleclick]
Action: Hangup
Channel: $

[arrow-doubleclick]
Action: Monitor|StopMonitor ; to toggle between actions
Channel: $
Mix: yes
FOPResponse: monitor|stopmonitor

[mail-doubleclick]
Action: Originate
Channel: $
Callerid: $ <$>
Async: true
Exten: 2000
Context: test
Priority: 1

[arrow-singleclick]
FOPResponse: showdetails

But it is not enough, because of what I said before, there
might be
different actions for a button depending on the type or
state. So I' m
still thinking how to do that.. If you have any ideas please
let me
know.

Last but not least, another feature that I have added is the
option to
transfer a call directly to voicemail, if you drag now a
phone icon
over the envelope, it will magnify, if you drop it there it
will
transfer to the voicemail extension for that button (defined
in the
op_buttons.cfg entry)

Any comments, ideas are welcome.

Regards,

I don't know. Currently it is not usable by the general
public, as I'
m changing config parameters every day until I settle or
feel
comfortable with the result. That's why I sent the email: I
wanted some
input about the scriptable commands. But it seems that
nobody cares...
I will have to decide it myself. I will look into privacy
per button...
