Hmm. A few thoughts:
1) Is there any chance spam filtering software is involved?
2) Can you set up a proxy or packet sniffer (something like
tcptrace or
Ethereal) between the wiki and the SMTP server to see if
SMTP traffic is
actually occurring?
If you can do #2 easily, that will at least tell us whether
it's a problem
with FlexWiki or not.
