Yes attachment formats includes a bracketed format.

I think it makes a lot of sense to be able to drop a
reference into the
wikitext that indicates that an attachment should be
rendered inline.
I don't like the full URL syntax because then users are
baking the
server name into pages; I would much rather have something
like
Topic/Attachment.ext syntax.
One note: how will spaces in attachment names be handled?
Users will
definitely try and do that (at least my users will!)

Initially it was planned to be a property of the attachment
that would

if an image attachment is to be rendered as a link or
inline.
Rethinking of
this creates doubts in my mind. I no longer think this
should be handled
at
the attachment level, imo it should be handled at the
referring topic
level
via a new format.
This would allow topics to link to the same image attachment
and decide
how
it will be rendered.
What do you think ? and what format do you think we should
use ?
Currently the attachment format is Topic/Attachment.ext
Also we can still use the full url to the image to display
it
i.e. http://www.flexwiki/default.aspx/Namespace/Topic/

That would be a very common use case I suspect.

I've been working on the attachment feature over the last
few months
with a slow but steady pace. Here is the status of the
implementation

The attachments management page ( Attachments.aspx ) was

provides the functionality to add new attachments with
