Yes its possible – I’ve done it.
Any image uploaded to my site is automatically synchronized with
my flickr account. Likewise, images uploaded/changed in the flickr account are
downloaded to my site. It’s not too tough to do – took me about two days of
work to iron it out. Sorry I can’t give you a url, because the site site is
still under development.
Let me know if you have any specific questions.
I am currently having my portfolio website
redeveloped: www.urban-
exposure.com
I am considering having the developer work in the flickr API into my
website, so that any images and galleries I upload through my website
are automatically synchronised with my flickr account.
The developer should be able to work in fields that will be used in the
flickr gallery, such as tags, description, metadata etc.
Can anyone shed any light on the viability of this, and even if it is
possible?
Are there any considerations I should take into account?
Thanks for your help!
