Hi everyone,
I am wondering if anyone else is experiencing this and has a solution, or maybe someone can tell me that this is a side effect of constantly updating to the latest Cardinal nightlies without doing a full uninstall (including profile, history, etc...)
Basically my harddisk is thrashing periodically while Flock is open. Using FileMon (from SysInternals) I see that flock.exe is the culprit. The activity comes & goes (I can only guess that it's either indexing or updating flickr or my feeds). Ultimately there are 2 files involved (these file names change over time):
WRITE to C:Documents and SettingsAdministratorApplication DataFlockBrowserProfiles7uh8h0lg.defaulthistorysearch_5tjj.cfs READ from C:Documents and SettingsAdministratorApplication DataFlockBrowserProfiles7uh8h0lg.defaulthistorysearch_5tjj.prx
This read/write alternates for anywhere between 5 sec and 45 seconds rendering a my computer almost useless. The file it is writing to is about 50MB.
I currently have about 50 feeds in MyNews
I am running Flock
0.7.6, build_id: 1159791218.7060 on WinXP SP2 My new machine even has a nice SATA hdd !
I have tried defragging & clearing the browser cache, but neither has helped.
Thanks for any input!

take a look.
Thx,
