using Flock to twitter?

Hi,

I'm trying out Flock 1.0 and I've successfully posted to
Blogger 
and Del.icio.us, but I haven't been able to figure out how
to 
post to Twitter. Could someone give me a clue, a pointer to

documentation would be fine.

Hi, Nancy, you just have to go to the People sidebar, and
click over 
your status, and t will open a text area to write the new
status.

Thank you for your quick reply Guillermo. I've clicked on
every 
clickable item in the People sidebar and still don't seem to
be 
getting the text area. I don't use Twitter much, e.g. I
don't 
have a picture for myself and only follow 1 person, so I'm 
wondering if there is something my account is missing that
is 
making this not work. When you say "click over your
status," what 
do you mean? I think I've clicked everything, but what
exactly 
does my "status" look like -- is it text or an
icon?

Yay, thank you, thank you, it worked! When I clicked on that

before, I thought that if I typed something I would be
editing 
that old Twitter message (which I now remember Twitter
doesn't 
let you do).

Now a question/request: Is it possible to make that little
text 
box bigger, e.g. at least 140 characters big?

I suggest to follow Twitter's "What are you
doing?" text box. This is
done in Twitterrific and also in the Firefox extension
Twitterfox.
That should help ease the confusion of where to post our
"twits."

Joel: I like that idea a lot, though I'm not sure
where we'd fit this

Evan, probably change the status text to a lighter-colored
"What are
you doing?" text every time. The user's
"twits" can then be shown
among the other contacts.

Or probably make the area into a white-colored text input
box.
