1.1 is here

Hey Flockstars,

A big thank you to all of you for testing away at Flock 1.1 and reporting any bugs you ran into.  We’ve squashed all the major issues and today we pushed the Flock 1.1 general release to www.flock.com.  Auto-upgrades will come next week, but if you’d like to upgrade now you can download from www.flock.com and run the installer…it will upgrade the build you have.

IMPORTANT NOTES FOR BETA TESTERS:

These vary depending on which build you’re running, which you can check by typing “about:” without quotations into the address bar.

1.1d beta testers: Flock 1.1d uses a different profile folder (BrowserBeta) than the 1.1 general release does.  If you want to use your data (Favorites, Feeds, Passwords, etc) from the 1.1d beta, you will need to follow the instructions here: http://stage.flock.com/faq/show/30#q_61354

1.1c beta users: The Flock 1.1c beta uses the same profile folder as the 1.1 general release, so you’ll be fine.

Great question, Eric. ; With all the versions, I forgot about 1.1b.  I believe 1.1b also uses a unique profile folders, so you will want to join 1.1d testers in going to http://www.flock.com/faq/show/30#q_61354, not a stage.flock.com link as previously mentioned (it’s been a long day).
