Didn’;t know if this would be of interest to anyone but I’m in the graphics dept. with a state agency and our Mac G5s (I’m using Panther but switching to Tiger soon) are hooked to an intranet that uses a Microsoft server. I have to use Entourage for email, Netscape for our online time sheets, Firefox for general research browsing and on occasion, Safari and Internet Explorer for specific sites. If you’re hooked to a Microsoft server and have a Mac, Safari works better for ordering at Adobe.com. It was recommended by a tech with Adobe. They said that months ago, Safari wouldnR17;t work there but now it will. Thought I’d pass on the info to others who may have a similar situation. I also welcome any feedback and ideas for working in this situation online.
