Jim,
I'm not sure what your end goal is here, but maybe you should just
copy the contents of the USB drive to your Desktop or someplace on
your hard drive, which you can see, then access the files that way
from the 8600.
Just my 2¢.

Does the Apple G4 towers with silver sides with blue tops take the
(PC133 SDRAM) ram chips?
Just wanted to make sure so when I find some I can install them
properly.
Thanks for your help,
Jim

Under About this Mac it should tell you what type of ram you
already
have installed. Try matching it.

| USB/firewire combo PCI card doesn't
recognize usb devices |

Hi all
I have a Sonnet tango usb/firewire pci card installed in my 8600/300
PowerMac. After upgrading from OS 9.1 to OS 9.2, my usb devices are
not seen or recognized.
It worked fine before the upgrade. I tried finding the latest driver
but I had no luck. I don't want to buy another PCI card.
Has anyone had this problem? Can someone direct me to where I can
resolve this?
Thanks for your help,
Jim

Try uninstalling the current driver, shut down the computer and then
reinstall that driver again.
See if that helps.

Hi all,
Can I down-grade or uninstall back to OS 9.1 from OS 9.2? I'm having
a hard time finding a new driver for the Sonnet tango USB/Firewire
pci card.
The pci card worked fine when I had OS 9.1 installed but I thought OS
92 would be a better upgrade.
It's frustrating not to be able to mount my USB devices now.
Thanks for your input
Jim
