Failure to burn audio

I downloaded MIDIs and burned data MIDI CDs with Toast.
Toast will not accept MIDI in for an audio burn.

So I drug MIDIs into iTunes. Titles etc showed. I played the playlist,
but when told to burn, iTunes says nuttin in playlist.
It's a puzzlement.
What converts MIDI to AIFF or MP3? Surely Toast will take them
