Another alternative you might consider to loading Mac OS X on older PowerPCs is Ubuntu Linux. I've installed Ubuntu Linux on a very old Graphite iBook and it runs great! Ubuntu Linux is free and networks very nicely with my other Macs. You can try it out with a "live CD" to see how well it runs on your old PowerPC. I'll bet you'll be surprised!

Nope. Those are locked down to work only on the Minis. (at least the
Mini G4 versions of the DVD)
