Hi;

Help?

My LaCie Firewire drive does not not mount, so I cannot backup to it. I 

have a empty ATA drive in the machine , but do not know its name.

Used Disk Utility but it does not show there either..


Could the driver have fallen off?

Where do drivers get shown?

G4 PPC OS 10.4.10

check to see if the jumper settings are right on the extra ATA drive.  Look on the back and make sure that it is either a slave, if used as a second drive, or set to primary if used as a primary drive.
