Most software licenses are technically non-transferrable once they've been registered so be careful on that one. You may not be able to get any kind of support or future upgrades on that license.
This isn't to say don't do it, just make sure if this is true or not and if it's acceptable to you.

I have an old  copy of Final Cut Express I bought several years ago.  



I now see an eBay listing for the latest upgrade copy.  



The Liquidation Seller says if there is any problem, when he sends me the new upgrade  

disks, manual and box for the latest upgrade, -- I can call Apple and have registration 

changed to my name since I have a bill of sale and the new upgrade Apple Final Cut Express 

disks -- is this true?
