Thanks for the plug, but CP probably won't do the job if you DON'T buy
the RAM from them -- it's too much of a risk to take on unknown RAM,
since if it's bad it can cause all kinds of problems. CP buys only
Apple-certified RAM and it's quite reasonable, they try to stay
competitive on the RAM price and they only charge $25 to install it in
a Mac mini (on most models they don't charge anything, but the mini
requires disassembly). Or at least they did when I was there.

If this is a G4 mini we're talking about, it's probably worth trying
to do yourself (particularly if you've already bought the RAM). It's
not hard.

The Intel Mac mini, OTOH, is much more of a PITA to do and I would
recommend having a tech do it.
