I have been thinking about something similar but did not
find a way to
implement it yet. The feature I wanted to have is that users
can choose
on their own if they want to get notifications on new tasks
or not.
Currently the only possibility is using a feed.

Could be possible, although it would be of limited use since
only
project managers can make use of it.

task creation.
This would be a problem, since the script would have to
decide whether
or not you added the notifications for the "new task
notif" or just for
the future.

We originally planned this for 0.9.9 but then dropped it
again because
it would be a lot of work. Don't know if we will ever
consider it again
since we have quite a lot of other tasks to do as well.

Well done ;)
