Possible bug in class.project.php at listCategories() (version 0.9.9 final)

Hi all!


I downloaded the new 0.9.9 final version and tried to put
the old db under
that. The site is almost ok, but there was a strange thing
for me: there
were '...'s at the beginning of the category names. As i saw
it that's
because the depth. i did not want to use depth in
categories, so tried to
change them. On the category edit page i take back them to
main level, but
after the update nothing can be seen. Neither in the current
project, nor in
other projects. I tried to debug it, but the code is a bit
complicated for
me and takes longer time. But i could see that the function
hase the $depth
= true def. value. I changed the function call's parameter
list, the thing
solved, but this is a bit ugly hack, so i'd like to have the
correct
solution. Can someone see the code and tell me where the bug
can be? Or can
someone tell me the system of the 'lft' and the 'rgt' fields
(i could not
understand them)?

Hi all!

I'v found the problem: there were missing entries in
 table.
The row with category_name 'root' were missing with their
left and right
values. But if this is missing, the admin site should inform
me about this
(or should not work).

It should never be missing in fact. If the upgrade scripts
are run 
correctly, there always is a root element. So the only point
of interest 
is why the element was not there.

Well, that was probably my fault. The db was a mixed ugly
one (upgraded from
0.9.7 to 0.9.8 then to 0.9.9 dev), and now i'm working on
cleaning the db.
