Indeed. Better yet, provide a improved RPM specfile. That's
quite easy,
if you can build epiphany-extensions from the command line
then you can
adjust a specfile.
Basically the problem is that the e-e package build scripts
for most
distros don't use --with-extensions=all, for various
reasons. Instead
they contain a manually specified list of to-be-built
extensions. It is
understandable that maintainers responsible for hundreds of
packages
don't always have the time to study the changelogs in great
detail.
When a new epiphany-extensions release appears, the package
is often
updated without updating the list of extensions. Somebody
who
knows enough about the package should care for testing if
the new
extensions work on the distro, eventually adjust the list of
required
packages, and update the spec accordingly.
