Is there any way to make Icon View icons larger? I have
already
enabled "Increase size of previews relative to
icons" and "use thumbnails
embedded in files" but is there a way to get even
larger icon previews?

Or... could someone recommend a good
"light-table" application? I have a
couple thousand images and would like some way to manage
them visually
(remove dupes, keep only the best, etc.)? The other view
modes from the
Image View add-on aren't quite what I'm after.

Kphotoalbum may work, I've turned up the size a couple
times in it to be able
to see larger previews

Edit the index.theme for the icons you use to include the
sizes you want.
For example,
copy /opt/kde3/share/icons/crystalsvg/index.theme
to .kde/share/icons/crystalsvg/,

and change the line that reads:
DesktopSizes=16,22,32,48,64,128
to
DesktopSizes=16,22,32,48,64,96,128,192,256

and change the line that begins with directories to include
scalable/actions,scalable/apps,scalable/devices,scalable/fil
esystems,scalable/mimetypes.

Actually, with crystalsvg, the larger sizes seem
bitmap-scaled instead than
SVG. But with real SVG themes, like "primary",
the icons are quite smooth.

You may need to use the +/- buttons or the mouse wheel to
change sizes that
are not in the menu. If I remember correctly, the
"huge" size is 128x128.
