I have some problems [1] with FreeBSD 6.1 and bge NIC, but
with FreeBSD

To throw my own $0.02, I've been doing testing on an
AMD64x2
(multiprocessor) with NSD. I'm using a crazy large domain
file and
getting around 125k requests/second using one NSD process
and 135
requests/second using 2 NSD threads.
