Just sharing the same opinion..
i think yr step is fair and good enuff since u're also go
thru mergemaster steps..
mine also do the same step since 4.x and it works fine for
me with no errors or anything weird..
my make.conf:
# added by use.perl 2006-08-22 09:40:06
PERL_VER=5.8.8
PERL_VERSION=5.8.8
CFLAGS= -O -pipe
COPTFLAGS= -O -pipe
NO_PROFILE=true
CPUTYPE?=pentium4
in your /etc/make.conf u just stated "NO_PROFILE="
with blank statements.. can we consider is as
"false"?
