Hi;
The latest and greatest Python is version 2.5; however, I
seem to only be able to build version 2.4.3 from the port.
I ran my standard battery of clean-up and get ready
commands:

portupgrade -a
portsclean -C
portsclean -D
portaudit -F /usr/ports/lang/python

but that didn't change things. How do I upgrade to python
2.5.0?
TIA,
Ted

Why do you expect that to give you python 2.5? That port
lives in
python-devel.

Personally I would wait a bit as the .0 releases often have
``interesting'' problems (e.g. python-2.4.0 had major
problems
with the Berkeley database routines).
