upgrading mplayer fails on linux-pango

Hello,
    Trying to upgrade my ports. And mplayer is failing on
the linux-pango 
dependency. The error from linux-pango is that elf binary
type "3" is not 
known and the install fails with an error 2. Does anyone
have a fix for 
this?

Did you (kld)loaded linux emulation module? (I.e. did the
command
"kldstat | grep linux" shows the linux.ko
module?)
