Something still has the file open. Even though the file no
longer has
a directory entry, its disk space can't be released until
nothing has
it open. Either tcpdump or some program you were using to
view the
file must still have it open. If you get tired of looking
for the
culprit, a reboot will guarantee it gets closed. If you
want to solve
the mystery, fstat should help.
