Hello All,

I'd be grateful if you guys/girls could offer up some
insight and or wisdom.
I'm about to start a new job working for an ISP, although
I've been
using/working with Unix predominately FreeBSD it has not
been in a NOC
environment.

So I guess I'm asking if you have any pointers that might
help me make a
good start with what I hope will be an enjoyable role.

Thanks in advance.

If you're not already reading the NANOG mailing list, that's
a good
place to start:

When I think back to that point of my career, O'Reilly books
were very
helpful, have a gander at www.oreilly.com.
