Hello FreeBSD experts,
When FreeBSD 4.11 is installed on Proliant DL140 G3 or
DL320 G5 with a
USB keyboard connected, the FreeBSD 4.11 panic crashes with
the
following console message:
Panic NMI hardware Indicates Hardware Failure Mp_lock

Idel_loop() at idle_loop+0x44
Boot() called on CPU#0

Without the USB Keyboard there is no crash. Can somebody
tell me how
this problem can be resolved.
Thanks,
Soumitri

Hi, i would suggest that you shoud use 6.x-STABLE or
7.x-BETA as far as
possible if you do not have a special reason. Because
4.x-STABLE was
from the last Stone Age. There are so many weakness than the
current
versions (eg., 6.2-RELEASE, 6.3-BETA, and 7.0-BETA) ;;
