parallel performance in FreeBSD 7.0

Hi there,
I would like to use OpenMP to run some parallel benchmarks
in FreeBSD 7.0. Could somebody tell me what options should I
recompile the FreeBSD kernel with? I have a Intel Core 2 Duo
Laptop.

You don't need to recompile anything. Everything should work
"out of the box". 

BTW, the amd64 mailing list is hardly relevant to this
topic.
