For reasons I don't understand, this breaks Firefox and
OpenOffice.org
in 7.0-STABLE:  After rebuilding world and all ports with
this change,
both get SIGSEGV in ld-elf.so.1 whilst (or just after)
loading the
last .so that is part of the executable.  None of my other
ports seem
affected.
