Gilbert, Arizona has been ranked the forth-safest city in the United States. It is no wonder that Gilbert and the surrounding Phoenix metro area is a favorite for family relocation.Singles, retirees and families have made Gilbert home in recent years due to its award winning public school systems, thriving businesses, job opportunities, shopping, dining and entertainment centers, cultural centers and unbelievable recreational options and it is these new residents that have made this city so safe. Very well planned residential developments characterize the housing that are available in Gilbert. Gilbert is home to some gated communities with large estate properties and mini ranches; many of which are zoned for equestrian usage, which is popular here. Horse riding trails are located everywhere and are used heavily.
