gdb "set check type" command

GDB has a "set check type" command which,
according to the manual,
allows it to ignore some type errors when evaluating
expressions.  The
examples all refer in C or Modula-2.  There is nothing
implemented
in GDB connected to this switch; at this point all that's
left is a
pile of dead code.

Gaius, as the GDB M2 maintainer, do you think this option
has any
value?  If you aren't planning to use it for anything, I may
strip
it out of the source.
