Error report while installing the GMP Library

Hi,

When Iam installing the GMP Library I'm getting
errors.Please help me in
this regard.
I have executed. /configure and make commands. While running
make check
Igot the below errors please give the solution.

all the tests fail because the linker cannot find
libgmp.so.3, probably
because it isn't in $LD_LIBRARY_PATH. You can either build a
static
version of the gmp, or set LD_LIBRARY_PATH to an appropriate
directory.
