Problems compiling GMP on AIX 5.3 in 32 bit mode

Hi all! I don't know whether my problem is a bug or "wrong handling" (and therefore this is the correct mailing list, please forgive me if I am using the wrong list). I am trying to compile GMP 4.2.1 on AIX 5.3 in 32 bit mode using ./configure ABI=32 I am using gcc 4.1.1 (I also tried the IBM xlc (vac Version 8), the same problem occurs).
